Built around your parts

A workshop starts from the parts and inspection tasks of your team, not from a standard syllabus. Participants set up scans themselves, see what each parameter does to the image and learn to tell a real defect from an artefact.

For operators and for decision makers

Operators need safe handling and repeatable scans. Quality engineers need to know what a result means and how reliable it is. Managers need to know what CT can and cannot answer. Content and depth are agreed for each group.

How a workshop is set up

  1. 1

    Participants and goal

You tell us who takes part, what they already know and what they should be able to do afterwards.

  2. 2

    Programme

We put together the topics and agree the parts used for the practical work.

  3. 3

    Workshop

Theory in short blocks, practice at the system, evaluation of the scans made during the workshop.

  4. 4

    Follow-up

Open questions from daily work are answered after the workshop.

Questions and answers

Do we need a BliXray system for the training?

No. The principles of scan set-up and evaluation apply to every CT system. Tell us which system and software you use.

Can the workshop take place in Hannover?

Yes. If your system is not yet installed, the workshop can take place in the BliXray laboratory.

In which language is the training held?

In German or English.

Does the workshop replace the radiation protection qualification?

No. The workshop covers the use of CT as an inspection method. It does not replace the radiation protection training that the law requires for operating an X-ray system.
